The Laminator option can be included with the MiniLab Sheeting Line when laminated dough sheets are required i.e. for crackers.

The unit is independently operated and consists of a flour duster, reciprocating conveyor and a receiving conveyor.   These are mounted on a robust stainless steel box section support frame that is fitted with swivel castors to allow the laminator to be repositioned.

The operating procedure is as follows;

Laminating sheet

Firstly a normal dough sheet is produced using the sheeting line with the rotary cutter raised out of the way.   This dough sheet is used to form a laminated dough sheet on the MiniLab laminator receiving conveyor.

Flour can be dusted onto the dough sheet using the flour duster.

Once the receiving conveyor is full the laminator can be repositioned to the rear of the sheeting unit.   The dough sheet is sent back through the sheeting line gauge rolls and is then cut into sample product.
